Zakir Abdul Karim Naik as known as Dr. Zakir Naik was born October 18, 1965 in Mumbai, India and is of Konkani descent.. A man with a vision, A man on a mission, Dr. Zakir Naik is an Indian Public Speaker and writer of the the subject of Islam and other religions. Dr. Zakir Naik says “Muslim” means a person who give wills to GOD. The word Muslim is not a word of Islam, the word Muslim is the word of humanity. Dr. Zakir Naik influenced by Ahmed Hussein Deedat (1918-2005). Dr. Zakir Naik is the best speaker I have ever seen in my life. Dr. Zakir Naik give solution to every humankind about their religion. According to Naik, his goal is to “concentrate on the educated Muslim youth who have become apologetic about their own religion and have started to feel that their own religion is outdated” and that it was the duty of every Muslim to remove “misconceptions” about Islam to counter what he considers as the Western media’s anti-Islamic bias in the aftermath of September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks upon the United States. An Inter – Religious dialogue for Spiritual Enlightenment was held on the 21st of January 2006 at Bangalore between Zakir Naik and founder of Art of Living, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on the topic The Concept of God in Hinduism and Islam, In the light of sacred scriptures.
